Master of Engineering

The Master of Engineering degree is a non-thesis, 36-hour program designed to suit your needs as a practicing engineer.

Admission Requirements

Admission standards are designed to ensure that you are a qualified professional serving in a leadership role in your engineering discipline. The primary requirements are as follows:

  1. B.S. in Engineering (Transcripts required) 
  2. Competitive Graduate Record Examination (for specific department policy, please click the buttons below) 
  3. If English is a second language, minimum TOEFL or IELTS scores as required by current University policy

Degree Requirements

  1. All College of Graduate Studies general requirements
  2. A minimum of 36 core and elective hours, as set by the department
  3. Satisfactory completion of a final examination

Other Master's Degree Options

The College of Engineering also offers Master of Engineering Science degrees (thesis required) in a variety of fields, plus Master of Science degrees in Port and Terminal Management, Environmental Studies or Enviromental Engineering, and a Master of Engineering Mangagement.
