ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ

We welcome your company booth at EXPO 2026!

The OUR Spring EXPO is ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ University’s annual undergrad conference that has been running for 13 years. It is expected to attract about 250 attendees and participants. The students presenting are high performers, most of whom have spent significant time doing research beyond their academic program requirements (i.e. some are O.U.R. grant winners, Beck Fellows, McNair Scholars). Attending gives you the chance to meet these students and learn about the innovative work ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ’s students, faculty, and staff are involved in. Companies may want to reserve a table to find excellent students for future employment, explore possible collaborations with ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ, help students learn about the company’s mission and activities, and contribute to students’ education and offering opportunities for employment outside the university.

Tables are available with space for representatives to set up banners.

Companies can reserve a 5x2 ft. table at no cost for one or both days. Tablecloth will be provided.

The peak times for running a booth are listed below:

Day 1: Thursday, April 30, 2026 – STEM Day

  • Poster Session 1: 8 AM - 9AM
  • Lunch Break: 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM
  • Poster Session 2: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
  • Before the banquet: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Day 2: Friday, May 1, 2025 – HASBSEB Day

Best time to have representatives at the booth: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Company representatives can run a booth all day, but they are welcome to be at the booth during the time window(s) that best fit their availability, considering also the peak times listed above (there may be little foot traffic outside those times). Please let Dr. Cristian Bahrim, the organizer of EXPO, know when you plan to have representatives at EXPO by email at cbahrim@lamar.edu. The earliest setup time is 8:00 A.M. on Thursday and 10:00 A.M. on Friday. If departing Thursday, please close your booth at 5:00 P.M., and 4:00 PM on Friday. Conference volunteers will be near the tables all day to assist, if needed.

Providing flyers, swag, and company handouts to attract visitors to your table is encouraged.

To increase student presence at your booth, we will hold a raffle at the end of each day for people who visited your table. If you would like to help, please donate swag items that can be included in raffle prize bundles.

You are very welcome to give a short 5 to 10 minute presentation during the lunch break (12:30 PM – 1:30 PM).

Dr. Bahrim will also assist with arranging free visitor parking.
