Support for Students Impacted by Sexual Misconduct

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University aims to enhance the safety and health of the LU community by sponsoring awareness activities, education, and collaborative partnerships. Sexual misconduct includes a range of non-consensual sexual activity or unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature. The term includes, but is not limited to, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, sexual intimidation, sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. Sexual misconduct can be committed by men or women, strangers or acquaintances, and can occur between or among people of the same or opposite sex.

Counseling Services


Mental health/psychological Counseling Services are available at the Student Health Center to currently enrolled students of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University and ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Institute of Technology.

Get Inclusive


An online education program, Get Inclusive prepares students for the challenges and responsibilities of college life. It addresses issues related to alcohol, drugs, and sexual misconduct.

LU CARE Team


The Critical Assessment Response and Evaluation Team coordinates support and response services for LU students that may be in crisis or may be a threat to the LU community.

Peer Education


Healthy Cards Peer Educators
develop and present educational programs to the LU student community on a variety of topics including sexual responsibility, alcohol awareness, and more.

Bystander
Intervention Training


Bringing in the Bystander is a prevention program that emphasizes a bystander intervention approach and assumes everyone has a role to play in ending violence against women.

Domestic Violence
Awareness


Presented by the LUPD, this presentation explains what domestic violence is and assures survivors that they are not alone. There are resources here at LU and in the community to help them Break the Cycle.

Personal Safety
Awareness


This presentation by LUPD is designed for students who are new to being away from home. It has information about the LUPD, basic awareness, crime prevention, and self-defense tools.

Pregnancy and Parent Support


Pregnant and parenting students are eligible to receive support and resources from the Title IX Office. Support and resources may include supportive measures, medically necessary periods of leave, and leaves of absence.
