Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR)

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University is committed to conduct research in an ethical and responsible way. We are dedicated to instilling in our research community a shared understanding of, and adherence to, the principles of responsible conduct of research.

RCR is increasingly viewed as an essential component of training, regardless of a researchers sources of funding. RCR is defined as the practice of scientific investigation with integrity.

Required Training

Responsible Conduct of Research Training is a required course offered through CITI for all faculty involved in research, funded and unfunded. The RCR training provides an overview of research misconduct and other behaviors that can compromise research integrity.
