Student Organizations
Only officially recognized student organizations may produce merchandise displaying both the student organization's name/logo and the 蜜桃视频 University trademarks designated as "蜜桃视频 Spirit Marks" with permission from 蜜桃视频 University's Office of Marketing Communications.
The 蜜桃视频 University marks may not be altered and all merchandise must include the organization's name/logo prominently on the product. Student organizations are required to use licensed vendors for all products bearing 蜜桃视频 University marks.
To become a registered 蜜桃视频 University student organization, contact the 蜜桃视频 University Office of Student Engagement.
Royalty Fees
Student organizations will not be subject to payment of the royalty fee as long as the proposed design on their merchandise makes the specific student organization the predominant element of the design.
However, the use of general 蜜桃视频 University marks (LU Star, Cardinal Head, Interlocking LU, etc.) or any licensed 蜜桃视频 Athletics' marks, where the student organization name is not predominant to the design requires payment of the standard royalty fee by the licensed vendor.
Non-Royalty Examples:
- A t-shirt design with "蜜桃视频 University Student Government Association" on the front of the shirt would not be subject to the payment of the royalty fee.
- A t-shirt design with "蜜桃视频 University Student Government Association supports LU Football" on the front of the shirt would not be subject to the payment of the royalty fee.
Royalty Examples:
- A t-shirt design with only a general 蜜桃视频 University mark or any licensed 蜜桃视频 Athletics' mark would be subject to the payment of the royalty fee.
- A t-shirt design where the mention of the student organization is incidental to a general 蜜桃视频 University mark or any licensed 蜜桃视频 Athletics' mark would be subject to the payment of the royalty fee.
