The ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University Mary Morgan Moore Department of Music’s Collage concert features our finest large ensembles, small chamber groups, and a variety of student and faculty performers. Audience members get a small taste of every type of music from Opera to Jazz. Both students and faculty are utilized in a quick-paced and seamless concert that will highlight the variety of talent ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University has to offer. This year the concert will take place in the University Theatre on the campus of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University.
As always, the proceeds from the event will benefit our students directly by helping fund our various music festivals and educational events throughout the academic year. Funds raised allow for our students to learn from prestigious guest artists, perform with renowned musicians from across the United States, and become inspired to lead the next generation to love and experience music.
Collage will take place January 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the University Theatre on the LU Campus. Tickets will be available to purchase before the concert date via our students or from the LU Marketplace (link listed above) or can be bought at the door the night of the concert. Individual tickets are $20.
There are a variety of different sponsorship levels to choose from with each offering their own benefits.
All sponsorship levels include tickets to a pre-concert reception held in the lobby of the Susan and Jimmy Simmons Music Building, reserved seating for the performance, recognition in the program and on-stage (based on donor level), and advertising in various official ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Mary Morgan Moore Department of Music festival programs throughout 2024.
Our pre-concert reception will feature live music, hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, presentations, and a silent auction. The festivities will begin at 6:00 pm in the Susan and Jimmy Simmons Music Building – directly next to the University Theatre. You won’t want to miss a single moment of this amazing reception.
