The LU Summer Art Camp is an intensive week of exciting hands-on integrated learning activities and art projects. The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) curriculum has been adapted to place “Art” back into the center of learning, creating STEAM.
Through the STEAM mindset, students learn that art and design are essential components to understanding the world, as they engage in problem solving through visual methods. The LU Summer Art Camp courses are designed to be concentrated and active. Each course will be taught by art and art education students from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University

Drop off and Pick up
In the circle drive in front of the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Art Building.
Morning: drop-off - 8:15-8:30am
Afternoon: pick-up - from 12:30-12:45pm
8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Art projects include:
*A STEAM art exhibition and reception will take place Friday, June 21 from 12:30 - 2:00pm at the SOL Gallery in the Department of Art & Design.

The Wales Foundation has sponsored 20 scholarships for teh STEAM camp, available for the first twenty students who sign up.
