Dr. Stephanie Chadwick is a modern and contemporary art historian and Chair of the Department of Art & Design at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ University, where she advances the department’s mission to foster creativity, innovation, and critical thinking across the fields of studio art, graphic design, art education, and art history, supporting a curriculum that prepares students for professional development as well as artistic and intellectual growth. Dr. Chadwick’s scholarship focuses on post-1945 art, with particular attention to issues of artistic identity and art in relation to visual culture. She has published essays and articles that combine academic rigor with accessible interpretation, reflecting her investment in expanding the reach and relevance of art historical discourse. She is a dedicated educator and mentor, guiding students to develop as artists, designers, and scholars. Committed to experiential learning opportunities, Dr. Chadwick encourages student engagement through exhibitions, internships, and public engagement projects that connect academic study with real-world experiences.
