Instructions for Ordering Parking Permit (Hangtag)
- Go to www.lamar.edu.
- Select LU Connect.
- Select Banner Self-Serv.
- Enter ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ L Number for User ID.
- Enter PIN *Note* The pin number is usually a 6-digit birthday (MM/DD/YY).
- Select the Employee tab.
- Select the Parking link.
- Login to the AIMS parking portal using your LEA username and password *Note* this is the username and password you use to login to Blackboard.
- Use DUO Mobile to provide a push for additional verification into the AIMS portal.
- Make sure you have the make, model, and license plate information for your vehicle and select Order Permits.
- You may read the Rules and Regulations regarding parking at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University and select I agree with the terms of service to continue.
- Select either Non Reserved if you want a parking permit and no gate key, Reserved (1, 2, 3) if you want a parking permit with a gate key, Reserved (1, 2, 3) Accessible if you have an ADA approved placard or plates and want a gate key, Non Reserved Accessible if you have an ADA approved placard or plates and do not want a gate key, or Disabled Veterans if you have DV plates.
- Select add a vehicle and enter your vehicle information, then click add and confirm.
- Select your delivery option: select Pick up at Parking Office if you wish to pick up the permit in person or, Sent Permit via US Mail if you wish to have the permit mailed to you. *Note* The permit is ready the same day that you complete filling out the form.
- Select add permit to cart.
- Check over the information and then select the checkout button.
- You may logout of the AIMS portal as you have completed filling out the form. A receipt and temporary permit will be emailed to your ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ email. This temporary permit is good for 7 days. The receipt lets you know that you have completed the process, and the charge will be applied to your Banner account.
