Diane Clark is presenting the proposed updates to Deaf education by dropping the term deaf studies, provide updated courses, and changed the titles of courses and content of those courses. It will impact transition for courses from face to face courses and online courses. Proposed to develop master courses which will be taught by adjunct faculty. This will free up faculty commitments in the department. Beaumont will transition to be online courses, while Austin will offer Hybrid courses for the master’s program.

Graduate Council will spend time reviewing the degree plan and proposal for the following week. Discussion will resume at the next Graduate Council meeting. All in an agreement at 1:20 PM.

Meeting adjourned at 1:21 PM.
