Old Business

  • Dr. Lin express appreciation to Committee chairs and members for their hard work during the year.

 

New Business

  • Faculty Senators were reminded to pick up their backpacks.
  • Jennifer Fowler and Daryl Ann Borel introduced a procedure for votes of confidence/ no confidence or censure of administrators. Recognizing that the Faculty Senate at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University holds the authority to initiate a Vote of Confidence, a Vote of Censure, or a Vote of No-Confidence i executive members of the Administration (associate vice presidents, vice presidents, and the President), a structured process should be in place to ensure fairness and orderliness, with ample opportunity for administrators to address faculty concerns. Fowler and Borel asked senators to review the draft; to be discussed in the Fall.
