Dinners in the Spring

LU culinary students will begin hosting Dinners in the Spring on March 25, April 1, and April 8. Each dinner will include a different Monday night theme. Students have planned every aspect of these dinners from menu planning to execution. Cost of a ticket is $22.50.

Center for Resiliency Distributes Smart Storm Backpacks on Wednesdays
Date: Wednesday, Apr. 10, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Location: Cherry Engineering, Signature Center Suites (lobby)
The LU Center for Resiliency distributes disaster backpacks for SmartStorm disaster preparedness participants. Backpacks are being distributed on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Cherry Engineering Building's Signature Center Suites lobby. Participants must bring verification of SmartStorm completion to receive a backpack.

Walk a Cardinal Mile Against Sexual Assault

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Opera Theatre will present two performances of Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, a one-act comic opera based on Dante's Inferno. All performances are free and open to the public. Performance duration is approximately one hour.

The Built Culture of Southeast Texas with Tara A. Dudley
Date: Tuesday, Apr. 16, 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. Location: Dishman Art Museum (2nd floor gallery & auditorium)
Architectural scholar Tara Dudley will give the keynote at the 3rd Annual Greater Gulf Symposium. She will talk about the built culture of Southeast Texas. Dudley teaches at the University of Texas (Austin), and is the author of "Building Antebellum New Orleans," winner of the 2022 Summerlee Book Prize.

The Office of Undergraduate Research Presents Expo

LU Dance Team Workshop for Kids

Does your kid love to dance? Join us at the LU Dance Team's Spring Show Clinic for Kids. This event is open to all dancers 1st grade to 8th grade. Touchdown Throwdown

Come out and celebrate the end of the semester with live music featuring Dende, who has more than 230,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. This event is free for students.
