The Adult Aural Rehabilitation Clinic at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University helps individuals with hearing loss identify and maximize their communication potential. The focus is to prevention and/or remediation of wider consequences of hearing loss.
The services include evaluating and treating a wide range of hearing impairments, as well as prescribing and programming hearing instruments, including cochlear implants. More importantly, this clinic also provide psychosocial support, communication training and assistive listening devices to improve the communication ability and the quality of life of individuals with hearing loss and their significant others.
Specialists at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University’s Cochlear Implant Center offer support to pediatric and adult cochlear implant patients. This support includes initial diagnostic evaluations to determine candidacy, proper fitting of the cochlear implant and continual follow-up support to ensure that the greatest benefit is derived from the cochlear implant.

From US 69/96S from Beaumont, exit at Rolfe Christopher then turn left under the underpass onto Rolfe Christopher Drive. If you cross the railroad tracks, you’ve gone too far. Continue straight on Rolfe Christopher, through the stop sign.
The Speech and Hearing Building is on the left after the big parking lot. Turn left on Iowa St. Parking is located on the south side of the building. This is a visitors/patients parking area. Students are at risk for being ticketed or towed if not checked in at the front office.
