Shelly Allen is a Field Supervisor and Clinical Instructor in Department of Educational Leadership at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University. She is a certified Elementary Educator, Assistant Principal, Associate Principal, Principal and Director of Student Programs in the Texas. Allen earned a B.S. in elementary education from West Texas State in 1987, a M.Ed. in administration from West Texas A&M in 2002 and Ed.D. in administration from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University in 2014.
A former educator and administrator, her work at both the campus and central office level gave her a passion for developing leadership in others and she found a way to support others in their quest to be an educational leader at LU. Dr. Allen in her current position is able to provide feedback on required practicum experiences for student in the EDLD program at LU. She is available to support and guide students as they grow their leadership skills and prepare for their first position as a campus administrator.
