Dr. Neil Faulk arrived on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University campus after serving the past 17 years as a professor at McNeese State University. His primary duties at MSU were teaching educational statistics, educational research, educational measurements, educational leadership and advising graduate students who conducted research. He also served in a leadership capacity as assistant department head while at MSU. Dr. Faulk taught every course within the master's and educational specialist education leadership programs while at MSU. He also taught math and statistics, measurement and research/evaluation methods.
In 1993, Dr. Faulk earned his Doctorate of Education in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University. While at Texas A&M, he also earned 48 graduate hours in exercise science/kinesiology.
Dr. Faulk has been a member of the Mid-South Research Association, National Council of Professors of Educational Administration, Louisiana Council of Professors of Educational Administration and the Louisiana Association of Teacher Educators. He is presently serving a three-year term as vice president of the Louisiana Council of Professors of Educational Administration. He was elected twice by his peers to be on the Faculty Senate at McNeese State University. He also served as a national evaluator for educational leadership masters and doctoral programs for the ELCC.
