Bio: Mr. Brennan received a B.S. in Computer Science from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ in 1996. He started his career at AT&T and worked in a variety of IT related positions including desktop support, systems and network management, application development, project management, data warehousing and business intelligence.
After 15 years he left AT&T to work for Clint Harwood at Conn's as a business data analyst where he manages the business intelligence and data warehousing projects as well as ad hoc and production reporting for the company. He enjoys interacting with current CS students at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ and sharing his perspectives and experience with them.
Stefan Andrei received bsc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from Cuza University in Iasi, Romania in 1994 and 1995, respectively, and a phd in Computer Science from Hamburg University, Germany in 2000. Upon completing his phd, Dr. Andrei returned as an Assistant Professor in Romania at Cuza University of Iasi. He worked from 2002 to 2005 as a Research Fellow under the Singapore-MIT Alliance and as a Visiting Assistant Professor with the National University of Singapore's School of Computing from 2005 to 2007.
He joined department of Computer Science at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University as an Assistant Professor in 2007 and he became an Associate Professor in 2010 and the department's Chair in 2013. His research interests are in real-time embedded systems, software verification, and programming analysis. He has published more than eighty refereed scientific papers and co-authored eight textbooks. In addition, he has nineteen years of computer science teaching experience. His papers have more than 150 non-self citations.
Dr. Andrei has been a program committee member or a co-chair for more than 32 international conferences, mainly from the real-time embedded systems and software engineering area. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Scientific Journals International (SJI). He has given invited research seminars at several universities and private industrial organizations. Bio: A native of Allentown, Pa., Mr. Carl is a high school computer science and network engineering teacher at Giddings ISD in Giddings, Texas. His responsibilities include developing networking, Java, and database educational programs to prepare secondary educational students for further studies at technical trade schools, universities, or entry-level careers in computer-based applications. Mr. Chris Graham

Mr. Clint HarwoodPosition: Retired/Consultant
Bio: Mr. Harwood's 28 year career has included petrochemical, university, utility and retail environments. As Vice President for the IT organization at Conn's, he oversees computer operations, systems and network administration, help desk, software development, user services, document imaging, telecommunications and business continuity facilities. Mr. Harwood continues to enjoy the opportunity to participate first hand in technical analyses and implementations and often serves as a team member on such projects as well as attending to IT management duties.
Dr. Paul Kendall

He was a review and assessment committee member on the National Institute of Standards and Technology Advanced Encryption Standard development effort, and was a committee member on the International Standards Organization task force developing the ISO 17799 security standard. Mr. Tim Magnuson

Bio: Mr. Tim Magnuson is the President and CEO of Austin-based Kashmoo.com, a web-based scheduling system for small businesses. He was a founder, VP and Director of Austin-based Pavilion Technologies in 1991 and played key roles in taking the company from startup to becoming a world leader in advanced process control. Over his 30 year career, Magnuson has served in roles ranging from Robot Research Engineer, at Milacron, to manager of the Neural Network Research Project at MCC in Austin. He has one patent in robotics, and is listed as an inventor on nine pending patents in software and Internet technology. Mr. Roger V. Moye

Bio: Mr. Moye graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University in 1993. He has been a member of the Division of Information Technology at Rice University for over 11 years. During his tenure at Rice he has performed a number of roles, including UNIX Systems Administrator, Team Leader and most recently Linux Cluster Administrator. He is responsible for systems administration activities on the university's research computing clusters. He is also responsible for the design and development of all web-based applications, websites and online documentation associated with cluster operations. Prior to Rice, Mr. Moye was employed as a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Information Systems at the Johnson Space Center where he was responsible for developing UNIX workstation performance analysis software used in the Mission Control Center.

Bio: Mr. Charles Teel (EMPSA, MBA, CHLS-CIP, F.ISRM) is an experienced Cyber and Information Security Professional with expertise in the NIST Cyber Security Framework and a history of working in both the private and public sectors. He started SR2 Solutions after seeing so many cyber security breaches affect people from all walks of life from individuals, to small business owners, to major corporations, to parts of critical infrastructure.
In 2019 he graduated with a Masters Degree in Homeland Security from Texas A&M University – The Bush School of Government and Public Service with an emphasis in Critical Infrastructure Protection. Charles also earned a Masters of Business Administration from the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University MBA Program. He’s been a member of the FBI’s Infragard program since 2017. Charles is also the cochairman of the Cyber Security Working Group of the Department of Homeland Security’s Area Maritime Security Committee (AMSC) in Southeast Texas. Additionally, Charles is a Certified Professional Fellowship Member of the Institute for Strategic Risk Management (ISRM).
