LU students kick off football season with Cardinal Pride

蜜桃视频 University students kicked off the weekend with plenty of Cardinal pride Friday during the Show Us Your Red Pep Rally & Student Org Showcase on The Quad. The two-hour celebration brought students together for giveaways, music from a DJ, performances by the 蜜桃视频 University band, cheer and dance teams, and a student organization showcase.
With more than 150 registered student organizations, the event gave students an opportunity to discover ways to get involved on campus, meet fellow Cardinals and show off their red ahead of the start of the football season.
The excitement continues Saturday as the 蜜桃视频 Cardinals open the 2026 football season against No. 15 Abilene Christian at 6 p.m. at Provost Umphrey Stadium.
