ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University is gearing up to welcome more than 300 future Cardinals to campus for Cardinal View, its largest open house event of the semester, on March 4. For this peck-tacular event, prospective students are invited to campus to learn about academic majors, financial aid, scholarship opportunities, student organizations, campus resources and what life looks like at LU. First up, members of the LU Crew share what they love the most about Cardinal View and how future Cards and prepare.
What's your favorite thing about Cardinal View?
My absolute favorite thing about Cardinal View is seeing all of the future Cardinals on campus with their families, especially knowing that you'll see them around campus as students in the future.
What is your favorite memory from when you attended Cardinal View as an incoming freshman?
I actually did not attend, but my favorite memory from New Student Orientation was interacting with the campus student leaders on campus. We went on to create great friendships afterward through our classes.
What advice do you have to help future Cardinals prepare for life at LU?
Time management is key and make sure that you study! Work hard, play hard, but focus more on the working hard side.
Anything else you would like to add?
It's an all-around great event and it's very impactful! You get free popcorn, free drinks and you get to meet with faculty from the engineering department and you get to see some of the cool projects from our senior design project.
