Among a long list of leaders and change-makers, LU alumna Stacie Prescott landed in the No.2 spot. Prescott graduated from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University with an undergraduate degree in human resources management. She is the head of 's Energy unit, which is an industry leading provider of property and casualty insurance, group benefits and mutual funds. In her role, she maintains full responsibility for the operation of The Hartford’s underwriting unit. Her focus is on helping establish the business unit’s primary marketing strategy, along with accountability for production, profitability, underwriting and compliance. Additionally, she was in charge of building a technical underwriting unit specifically focused on meeting the commercial casualty insurance needs of their customers. The unit is now a $1 million operating unit of The Hartford. Throughout her 30 plus year career in insurance, she has gained extensive underwriting experience insuring the energy industry.
Before joining The Hartford, Prescott was a head of international programs at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd and before that a regional underwriting manager at ACE Risk Management. Earlier in her career she worked with AIG as a regional manager.
Pamela Radford, who landed in the No.30 post on the list, graduated from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University with an undergraduate degree in communications and later earned a master’s degree in communications from the University of Houston. She has worked on numerous high-stakes and landmark cases including the Michael Jackson wrongful death case, Deepwater Horizon litigation, the ATT/Time Warner merger trial and most recently national opioid trials.
