The Division of Digital Learning would like to introduce a new professional learning benefit: & !
Through our partnership with the Texas State University System (TSUS), all ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University faculty, staff, and students now have optional access to Google Career Certificates and the new Google AI Essentials course. These self-paced, industry-recognized programs offer a practical way to build real-world, workforce-aligned skills.
Participants can enroll in any of Google's most in-demand certificate programs, including IT Support, Data Analytics, Project Management, UX Design, Cybersecurity, Digital Marketing & E-commerce, and Advanced Data Analytics.
The Google AI Essentials course is also available, offering a beginner-friendly foundation in AI literacy, practical AI use, and responsible digital practices.
All programs are self-paced, mobile-friendly, designed for beginners, built by industry experts, and credential-bearing upon completion.
This opportunity is not an academic requirement and cannot be used for course credit. Participation is entirely voluntary for faculty, staff, and students alike. You are not expected to integrate these certificates into your coursework or syllabi, though you are welcome to share the opportunity with students and colleagues.
At ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University, our faculty lead the charge in shaping future-ready learners, and this benefit supports that mission in several meaningful ways.
For yourself, it's an opportunity to upskill in emerging and in-demand fields, stay current with industry trends, and potentially inform your teaching practice or course design. For your students, it's a no-cost, flexible resource they can pursue independently to earn employer-recognized certifications and strengthen their career readiness.
More broadly, sharing this opportunity with colleagues and students helps foster a culture of lifelong learning and professional growth across departments and divisions.
Enrollment is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to explore and share this opportunity early.
The CITL team is happy to help. Reach out at CITL@ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ.edu for questions, support, or promotional materials to share with your students and colleagues.
