My name is Jordan Nelson. I’m a Biology major with a Pre-Med concentration in the College of Arts and Sciences. I’m currently involved in three organizations on campus, including the Honors Student Association, Collegiate 100, and MEDLIFE. A few of my hobbies include hanging out with friends, roller skating, and going to the gym!
My involvement in both the College of Arts and Sciences and the Reaud Honors College has made scholarships, internships, and organizations accessible to me. Humbly grateful for every opportunity, especially my recent summer internship at Houston Methodist, which will help me pursue my dream of becoming a neurosurgeon.
Being involved in such a close-knit community as an honors student has given me a sense of belonging. I have been inspired by my peers, mentors, faculty, and staff. The honors college has helped ease my transition from high school to college, while also maximizing opportunities for me to achieve my goals.
Be the change, be the catalyst, be the reason. A great start to that would be applying to the Reaud Honors College at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University!
Sincerely,
Jordan Nelson
