Transfer Students: Honors Pathway
Who is eligible for the Reaud Honors College?
If you are enrolled at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University or at another college, you still have the opportunity to join our Reaud Honors community! To be eligible for admission into the Reaud Honors College, you must have at least a 3.7 GPA. You are ineligible if you have taken any college readiness courses.
If you have 45 or more credit hours, you may still submit an application and our advisor will review your transcript to ensure you have an honors pathway.

Can I really complete my ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ degree as a Reaud Honors College Graduate?
Yes, you can! Our basic requirements for Reaud Honors College graduate status are:
- Complete a minimum 26 hours of Honors credits (includes at least two honors seminars or one honors topic).
- Participate in at least 40 Honors Experiences to enrich your time at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ and at least one High Impact Educational Practice.
- Your undergraduate resume will be evaluated by the dean in order to allocate Honors Experiences for service, leadership, cultural events and academic achievement during your years of study up to this point.
- Your transcript will be evaluated by the dean and up to 12 hours of honors course credits may be transferred.
- You may be eligible to earn up to six hours of non-course credits while at the Reaud Honors College.

Applying to the Reaud Honors College is easy. First, apply to ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University at ApplyTexas.org. See other requirements for transfer students. After you are accepted, use your ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University credentials to apply online to the Reaud Honors College.
Is there Honors housing available?
Yes. Honors students have their own wing, Scholars Tower, in Campbell Residence Hall.
