Dr. Paul T.M. Hemenway is the founder and managing director of ptmhenterprises, a communication, marketing, and public relations consulting enterprise headquartered in Beaumont, TX. Clients have included ENGlobal, HealthQuest (a health-focused monthly Maryland newspaper, Maryland Business for Responsive Government (MBRG), and the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA).

Previous clients (as a Washington-based negotiations org consultant) have included NASA, Caterpillar, Habitat for Humanity, and Southern Company, among others.

Dr. Paul (as he is called by his students), is also a full Professor in the Department of Communication at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University. As a college professor, he has taught well over 200 sections of courses that focus on improving communication, interviewing, public speaking, and public relations; he’s created a state university master's program; chaired university committees; and served on several boards of directors. Two books based on our misperceptions of communication are currently in the works.

As a student of the media, Dr. Paul has been actively and professionally involved in every mass medium. He has published some 200 newspaper articles, edited a scholarly journal, worked both on-air and behind the scenes in radio, television, and film, and performed live on-stage (both as a professional guitarist/vocalist and as a thespian).

As a member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television & Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA -- the prestigious national film acting union), he has performed in feature films (among them The Day Lincoln Was Shot, Minority Report, Head of State, Ladder 49, and Syriana), shot dozens of commercials, and provided numerous narrations for films and videos.
