1.   Update on Creative Pathways/Honors IN - Mr. Andrew Strange

  • Researching intern opportunities, job shadowing, research opportunities, etc.  
  • Reviewing requirements for each college/major and internships to build pathways 
  • High-impact credits, non-course credits – what are those pathways in each college? 
  • McNair, OUR – opportunities available to students; bolster these 
  • Individual major/honors for each specific major – researching with faculty and staff 
  • Uupper and lower level, opportunities available for students across major 
  • Bundle these opportunities, so students are not silo-ed into one trajectory 
  • Garner support from the faculty and staff; colleges

  • Interested in helping develop pathways for internships and HIEP opportunities in Fine Arts (Chadwick)
  • Committees for thesis, special topics courses, honors topics 
  • Outreach to chairs/faculty to submit course ideas for honors topics/seminars 
  • Let faculty know honors courses are available for teaching 
  • Faculty survey for input in terms of Creative Pathways/Honors IN 
  • Honors faculty liaison to reach students
  • Sharing and communicating projects, etc. – presenting work through ePortfolios, eg. Dr. Easterly and HNRS American Government
