Holocaust Portraits of Survival

In commemoration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, The LU Office of Strategic Initiatives is hosting Portraits of Survival which features modern day portraits of Holocaust survivors. Next to each photo is a card telling the survivor’s story and how they came to rebuild their life.

Volunteers Needed to Address Homelessness
Date: Thursday, Jan. 25, 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Location: Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange, Kountze
Point-In-Time (PIT) Count is a single-day event to gather data on needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Southeast Texas. In partnership with the Southeast Texas Regional Planning Commission, we seek data collection volunteers for PIT Day. Faculty and student participation is encouraged. Training provided. Human Trafficking Prevention Lunch and Learn

Ron Rozelle: Texas Gulf Raconteur

Call for Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Proposals

The Office of Undergraduate Research is seeking proposals from undergraduate students in all areas of discipline at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University. Recipients will receive up to $1,000 in research support and the opportunity to present their research at EXPO 2025. Submissions will be accepted until March 1.
