The Mary and John Gray Library Special Collections and ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University Archives, located in the Mary and John Gray Library, were established in 1980 to preserve, collect and provide access to rare books, historical collections of Southeast Texas and official permanent records of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University.

A new collection is available on the library's web page. It is Course Catalogs and Bulletins dating from 1960 to 2008. The Office of the Registrar digitized the files, and the library published them. The library is planning to digitize and publish the earlier volumes in the future.
