Vitae

Dr. Boyd Lanier was educated in a number of schools in the U.S. and Europe and graduated from Florida State University (B.A. in Political Science and International Relations, 1966, M.S. in Political Science, 1967, and Ph. D. in Political Science, 1970). He also holds a degree from ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ University (B.A. in Deaf Education, Habilitation, 1984). Dr. Lanier taught the department’s international politics and international law courses and served as a pre-law advisor and, formerly, director of the BAAS program.

He has taught in almost every mode of instruction offered by the university: on-campus, off-campus, branch campus sections, storefront classes, interactive television courses, tele-courses and on line. He has served as academic advisor to the department’s graduate students and undergraduate majors.
